Hibiscus House

Hibiscus House is a project focused on strong connection between indoor and outdoor living. Large sliding doors link the internal social spaces with timber decks at the rear and front of the property, where the site enjoys panoramic views of the Tweed Coast. A simple material palette of zincalume and Australian hardwoods, along with tidy detailing and a garden of native planting will leave the home feeling right at home in it’s coastal environment, developing a beautiful patina over time that ages gracefully.

This project has been designed to be low energy (capable of meeting the Passivhaus Standard) and will feature an abundance of local + recycled materials and regenerative landscaping throughout.
